Mermaid birthday decorations

Mermaid birthday decorations look best in layers of blue, teal and pearl. For Aintree parties, the Ariel backdrop and three plinths make a striking centrepiece, and balloons and shell details finish the look.

Ariel party setup ideas

1. Add shell details to the dessert table so the theme runs through the whole space.
2. Set up lighting with a soft blue tone if the party runs into the evening.
3. Place the backdrop against a wall and add balloons in blue and teal on either side.
