Under the sea birthday party ideas

Under the sea birthday party ideas are easier when the theme is built around one bold backdrop. In Sunshine, our Little Mermaid set suits backyards, family homes, halls and function venues, so you can choose a setup that fits your space and guest list.

Mermaid birthday decorations

Mermaid birthday decorations look best in layers of blue, teal and pearl. For Sunshine parties, the Ariel backdrop and three plinths make a striking centrepiece, and balloons and shell details finish the look.

Ariel party setup ideas

1. Place the backdrop against a wall and add balloons in blue and teal on either side.
2. Use the plinths for the cake, cupcakes and party favours at different heights.
3. Add shell details to the dessert table so the theme runs through the whole space.
